EATW Philosophy

At English All The Way, we are serious about education. We believe in a holistic approach to ESL learning, and we strive to instil passion and curiosity in all our students to pursue the knowledge of English in everyday life, beyond the EATW classroom.

Every Student Matters

Classes are capped at a maximum of 7 students to ensure everyone receives a good the level of attention

Putting the "fun" in Fundamentals

We teach phonics, pronunciation, intonation, diction and elocution through interactive activities and fun word games such as word search, Bingo and flash cards as well as songs, poems and rhymes, so students grasp the vital fundamentals for good oral and written English in a fun, engaging way

Speak Up!

Students are encouraged to speak up, to ensure they are able to engage in small talk and converse confidently in English in different settings, from a restaurant to a school interview, from a stationery shop to the doctor's etc

More than English

Basic manners, greetings and topics on etiquette are also discussed to provide an all-rounded life education

Our Mission

To help students build a solid and confident English foundation through effective, fun teaching and structured syllabus, so the desire to learn ESL is natural, spontaneous and distinctive, and encourage students to develop a persistent habit in reading more English on their own intiative

Our Methodology

Foundational Focus

  • Focus on the fundamental needs of all students in helping them pass respective English language tests/exams--both oral and written--with confidence
  • Effective English learning methods such as grammar theory, sentence structure, clozes, inversions, reading comprehension and impromptu dictations incorporated in the coursework
  • Common English errors are frequently addressed to nip them in the bud

Building on Basics

  • English idioms, synonyms, antonyms and homophones are covered to assimilate theories with colloquialisms
  • Older students (P.4+) frequently engage in sentence making, essay composition and creative writing to foster creativity, independence and imagination
  • Attention given to special words which deviate from normal phonetic approach e.g. debut, debris, debt, doubt, depot, subtle, quay, comb, dough, isle... etc.

In Sync with Schools

  • A structured syllabus that complement and supplement school syllabus to prepare students in meeting the challenges of English learning
  • EATW-exclusive mock papers are provided to students during exam period to simulate English examination modules and requirements
  • "Tips for Parents" handed out on a regular basis to ensure education continues at home
