EATW Philosophy
- To lure the interests of
students in learning ESL through effective, fun teaching.
- To prepare
students in meeting the challenges of English learning through structured
training with comprehensive handouts.
- To focus on the fundamental needs of
all students in helping them pass respective English language tests/exams both
oral and written with confidence.
- To stimulate students' aggression to have
a persistant habit in reading more English on their own initiative.
-
To create a yearning desire amongst students where learning good English is
simply natural, spontaneous and distinctive.
EATW - A Multi-Faceted Approach
- Classes kept small - restricted to a maximum of 7
students.
- Phonics, pronunciation, intonation, diction and elocution through
interactive activities, word games
(e.g. word search, puzzles, bingoes,
dominoes, flash cards… etc.), where students gradually grasp the vital
fundamentals necessary for good oral and written English.
- Grammer,
sentence structure, use of words, essay writing, sentence making, reading
comprehension and impromptu dictations incorporated in the curriculum.

on verbal communication.
- English mock papers drilling all students during
school test/exam periods.

composition and creative writing while all classes are supplemented with

approach e.g. debut, debris, debt, doubt, depot, subtle, quay… etc.
